Uros floating islands: at 20 minutes by boat from Puno city, there are more than 20 islands inhabited by the uros ethnic families, the islands has being woven using reed that groups at the place, each island holds between 3 and 10 families, tourism is their main income and the way they live is very particular, they have to cook outside, on this way they avoid any risk of fire accident, and all of them do fishing and have built reed boats and cathorses, while they textiles are basically using alpaca, and sheep wool, is a nice place to see and some families has already created place to host people.

Taquile island:  Know as well Intika in quechua, this island is at more 45 km = 27.96ml from Titicaca lake which takes nearly 3 hours on the local boats, this island is an active island inhabited by about 2300 people, a nice island that hold a community of farmers and craftsmen, where the traditions are still kept intact, they speak aymara as main language and wear clothes made by themselves. This is the place where we spend a night, and have time to explore the farms and the nice walkways, and at evening there is a mandatory time to dinner in family and assist a local event.

Amantani Island: The biggest inland holds about 4000 people nearly 900 families, the most spoken language is quechua and they have beautiful farms and a shrine at the highest point of the name, then have the ceremonial center of pacha tata at 4150 mt = 13,615ft, from where you almost can see all the lake, when you do a hike you can feel clean air, and the wide lake that surrounds make the feeling of peace and joy. Here you can have opportunity to hike andbefore leaving the island you can buy some handmade textiles and crafts, the the ride from this lake to puno city takes 3 hours and covers 45km.

Day 01: Puno - Uros Islands - Taquile

07:00 hrs: Pick up from your hotel at Puno and transfer to the lake Pier.

08:30 hrs: Visit Uros Floatng Islands.

9:30 hrs: Depart towards Taquile.

12:00 hrs arrive to Taquile, get recepcion and have lunch at noon, with a local family.
