  1. Acceptance of Terms
    By accessing and using the website https://terrificperutours.com/(hereinafter, “the Website”) and booking any of our services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use our Website or make reservations.
  2. Services Offered
    Terrific Peru Tours acts as a tour operator offering private and customized tours in Peru, including but not limited to:
  • Tours to Machu Picchu (by train and hikes such as the Inca Trail).
  • Tours of the Sacred Valley, Cusco, Rainbow Mountain, etc.
  • Private guide services, transportation, and accommodation management.
  • Luxury packages and personalized experiences.
  1. Booking Process and Payment
  • Booking Request: To initiate a booking, you must provide the required information through our contact form or via email.
  • Confirmation: A booking is considered confirmed once you receive a confirmation email from us along with the proforma invoice.
  • Payment: An initial deposit of 50% of the total tour cost is required to secure the reservation. The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days prior to the tour start date. For bookings made less than 30 days in advance, full payment is required.
  • Payment Methods: We accept payments via bank transfer and credit cards through our secure gateway.
  1. Cancellation and Refund Policy
  • Cancellation by the Client:
    • More than 30 days before the tour: Deposit refunded, minus transaction costs and any non-refundable expenses already incurred (e.g., entrance permits and train tickets).
    • Between 30 and 15 days before the tour: 50% of the deposit will be withheld.
    • Less than 15 days before the tour: No refund.
  • Cancellation by Terrific Peru Tours: We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather, political unrest, or force majeure. In this case, we will offer an alternative date or a full refund.
  1. Client Responsibilities
  • Documentation: It is the client’s responsibility to possess a valid passport, visas, and any required vaccination certificates.
  • Travel Insurance: It is mandatory for all clients to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical assistance, repatriation, and loss of luggage.
  • Health and Fitness: The client declares to be in good health and physical condition suitable for the booked activity. You must inform us of any health problems or special diets at the time of booking.
  • Hiking Permits: For tours requiring permits (Inca Trail, etc.), the client must provide accurate passport information on time, as these permits are nominal and non-transferable.
  1. Limitation of Liability
    Terrific Peru Tours acts as an intermediary between clients and service providers (hotels, airlines, railways). We are not liable for:
  • Loss, damage, or theft of luggage and personal items.
  • Accidents, illnesses, or injuries sustained during the tour.
  • Delays or itinerary changes caused by third parties or force majeure.
  • Additional costs incurred due to delays or changes beyond our control.
    We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance.
  1. Intellectual Property
    All content on the Website (texts, logos, images, itineraries) is the property of Terrific Peru Tours and is protected by copyright. Reproduction without prior written authorization is prohibited.
  2. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
    These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Peru. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of the city of Cusco, Peru.
  3. Modifications
    Terrific Peru Tours reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated date.
